Necker Island it is a stunning island located in the British Virgin Islands, the island was bought by Sir Richard Branson in 1978 for just $175,000 when he was only 28 years old. Since then however, he has spent over $10 million on the island, creating a luxurious retreat for those who can afford the $62,000 per night price tag (when he’s not using the island of course).
The island can accommodate up to 28 people at a time and is used for business, weddings and general rental. In 2007, Larry Page, co-founder of Google, married his girlfriend on the island. With the island comes a ten bedroom villa, two beaches, a tennis court, water sports equipment, personal chef and a team of staff. Not to bad….if you can afford it!
